La - La Land Crafts - Inspiration Friday - Thinking of you

Hey crafty friends, it is friday again and today I just want to think of you and wish you a great start into the weekend.

My make for this La - La Land Crafts Inspiration Friday is a really tropical card with a lot of colored leaves, hibiscus flowers and a cheeky parrot partying a bit.

La - La Land Crafts - Inspiration Friday - New Year/Inspirational

Happy new year to all of you! I hope you had a great start into 2020.

It is time for the first Inspiration Friday at La - La Land Crafts and I want to show you a really tropical and colorful card with two of my beloved birds from the September Release

They are having a lot of fun with their drinks and start totally relaxed and happy partying into the new year.

I tried different coloring on the hibiscus flowers and both turned out just beautiful.

I also colored up a lot of tropical leaves to layer them between a Scalloped Rectangle and the Large Nested Frame Die Cut.

Before layering I stamped the Stress Free Zone Background Stamp with Distress Oxide "Mermaid Lagoon" onto the Rectangle Die Cut.

There was no "Year" die cut in the shop so I had to improvise. I die cut the stitched word "Happy" two times and "Merry" once from one sheet of the Get Inky Paper Pack and Kraft Cardstock.

Then cut the letters "Y, E, A and R" and glue them to the card. The word "NEW" was put together from alphabet stickers.

Then just added the colored Hammock Island, the stitched sun and both birds to achieve the tropical party feeling of this card!

That was my first Inspiration in 2020 for you, I hope you had fun with it and start getting crafty!
