Hi all, Sandra here with you today and I am so excited to show you my light-up card I made for the Picket Fence Studios and Pear Blossom Press Blog Hop Collaboration!
It was the perfect reason to combine the PFS new July/August 2023 Release with some amazing EZ lights I had never used before and I honestly was a bit afraid of. But it was so easy and fast done I almost couldn´t believe it.
Pear Blossom Press EZ lights are all-in-one light-up units that are already attached with long wires so you needn´t build up a circuit. Just add the included battery and get started crafting!
For my card I decided to go with an alcohol ink on thin Yupo paper created background so the lights would shine through without problems.
I die cut the A2 Ghost House Cover Plate Die three times and glued it together to create some dimension, then stamped, colored up the cute little witch, the ghosts and pumpkin and embossed the sentiment with WOW white embossing powder on black cardstock.
My cardbase was made with the Double Stitched Layering Rectangles Die and I added 2mm foam tape around it and taped the 3 lights and button in place so the eyes and mouth of the house would light up if the sentiment is touched.
Then layered the background over the cardbase and added the little ghosts, witch, pumpkin and sentiment.
